Burn the ships...
A single phrase drove me to where I am today (literally) - "burn the ships" not sure if it was his original quote but I heard it from Tony Robbins, yes the motivational guy... I travelled to San Jose and am awaiting the start of a Tony Robbins event that I am not sure what the outcome will be immediately - but with the intent of understanding and committing to my version of "burn the ships". Which, to me, means being so committed to something that there is no turning back, something that drives me to the core, something that simply has no option than to achieve it. When I originally signed up for this, I had a lot of questions in my life that I was trying to answer - purpose, passion, love, etc, etc. Throughout the last few months one of these has 'solved' - love. This is one of those areas in life that is truly unmeasurable the impact it has on you, the happiness, drive and pleasure that this one area can bring and the inate desire to strengthen it - so...
