Inspiration
Recently someone very dear to me passed away, and I lost someone who indirectly guided me through life with actions, words and thoughts that I will always remember. My Grandfather was a true patriarch of my family and will always be remembered for his life. His was a life that was truly lived, a quote that truly defines his life "When I go to my grave my head will be high, Let me die in my footsteps before i go down under the ground".
In his last years he yearned for one thing more than anything else, to be reunited with the love of his life - my grandma. He spoke of her often as he looked forward to the moment when they would be reunited. To hear him speak of this moment removed any doubt in my mind that true love was still alive and existent in this world.
There are so many memories of Wilf that I recall, but the lesson I will take more than any other is to live life, and never regret a decision made.
Wilf you will be remembered by the many that you touched in your life, you will be remebered by you family as an inspiration. You are and will always be loved, but I am glad you and Granny are reunited and looking over us as we move through life.
